Antique Victorian walnut nut basket Item # 960 "Antique basket" nut basket,Wonderful Victorian hand made graduated walnut basket. The walnuts were cut fine by hand and woven together with wire to make a nut basket. This type of basket was popular in the 1860 to 70s in American. Antique Nantucket Swing handle Basket vintage Item # 1290 "Antique Nantucket baskets" Rare signed Nantucket basket. This basket is very rare and quite possibly One of a Kind made by a master Nantucket basket maker. It was acquired from a family on Fishers Island that had ties to Nantucket. The basket has a fantastic patina and the maker signed it on the base with a c which is visible in the blow up pictures attached. It has a hand turned wood base with an ivory button in the inside middle. Measures 9" across, 4 and one quarter inches high and 9" to the top of the handle when it is in its rasisd position.
